Strategic Security Operations is a comprehensive 8-hour training, delivered in 2 parts that provides a deep dive into strategic governance for the SOC

In this training, you will learn all the different aspects that are required for strategic direction in the SOC. The course wil cover topics like risk alignment, embedding business requirements, performance measurement, SOC maturity, and quality assurance.

The training contains an additional optional practitioner workshop. In this workshop, you will get hands-on experience with defining strategic direction for a SOC using a simulated case study.

SOC consultants, senior SOC personnel, SOC managers, CISOs, senior security managers and executives

The cost of the training is EUR €1350,- excluding VAT. Pricing includes an exam voucher and the SOC-CMM assessment e-book. The cost of the additional practitioner workshop is EUR €500,- excluding VAT. Note: the practitioner workshop is only available as an add-on to the course, not separately. Discount is available for students who have already completed another SOC-CMM training.

Main course goals

• Learn to strategically govern your SOC. The strategic security operations training teaches students how to implement and execute strategic SOC governance. The training covers different strategic aspects within the SOC in depth and provides best practices on these topics.
• Get hands-on experience with defining strategic direction in the SOC. The workshop teaches how to define a target operating model, and implement governance, quality assurance and performance measurement in the SOC.
• Get SOC-SA certified. The strategic security operations training includes an exam voucher. Students that successfully pass the exam receive an official certification and badge and can use the designation SOC-SA: SOC-CMM Strategic Advisor.
